This class will be finishing up the book, ‘He Still Moves Stones’ by Max Lucado and then will be going into a study of the Gospel of St. John. It is the only non-synoptic of the four Gospels and should provide some very good discussion as we study the impact it had on the early Christian Church and how it can apply to our lives today. All adult ages are invited to the class. It is currently comprised of a very eclectic group of people with warm and welcoming hearts.

Presently studying ‘A Fragile Stone: The Emotional Life of Simon Peter’ by Michael Card. The class is discussion based and so the time of study on the book will be based upon the discussion as it happens. The class make-up is of both couples and singles and all are welcome. Come and enjoy our fellowship and discussion on this journey through the emotional life of Simon Peter.

Meeting Jesus through the Parables. Though familiar to all of us, do we understand the parables the way they were intended to be received? Are they to be understood symbolically or do they appeal to common sense knowledge? What do they teach us about Jesus and about our relationship with God? Do they enable us to make sense out the world in which we live and how to live a meaningful life? These and other questions will be explored as a parable per week is covered during Sunday school. Come and join the Logos class as together we discuss the treasures to be gleaned from this rich portion of Scripture.

Prayer Ministry Team      Bonnie Bailey/Margaret Jocobs      (Chapel)
We are a praying church. This ministry team meets every Sunday during the Sunday school time to lift up all the prayer requests and more. Join them for a time of reflection on what is going on in the church and lifting others up to the Lord.
